Web Mining
Textkernel applies powerful document understanding technology to data
that is spidered from the web. This results in structured records that
can be queried and matched.
We can generate leads and market understanding for recruiters from a
complete collection of all vacancies online. We distill information
about houses for sale by crawling and extracting real estate agent's
sites. We provide insight into customer opinions and sentiment towards
products by analyzing what people post on blogs and discuss online.
Our technology is optimized for collection of structured data feeds
from very large numbers of unstructured online sources.
Some examples of Textkernel Web Mining
solutions are described below:

Buzzcapture
People increasingly use the Internet as a source of information to reach a buying decision. To obtain the information they need, opinions are exchanged between consumers on blogs, forums and review sites. This new channel, where the consumers create content and exchange information, is called Social Media and it is used more and more often.
Buzzcapture monitors and analyses all places on the internet where people give their opinions. By doing this, we are able to provide companies with insight in discussions about their brands, products, competition and other relevant aspects of their market. By systematically monitoring blogs, forums and review sites, we help companies to stay in tune with their market.
All relevant data are captured, categorised, weighted, analysed and presented into comprehensible reports.
